Calvin Harris has posted a short video for his forthcoming album, labeled ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2’.
On Wednesday, Scottish producer Adam Wiles tweeted a shot of a billboard with the caption “Summer ’22.” No other information on the record or more specific launch date was shared from his side. A further cryptic tweet from Calvin Harris in early March hinted at the project’s upcoming release, stating that “Vol 2 is gonna be mad.”
Calvin Harris’s first album in five years, ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2,’ will be the follow-up ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1,’ which was delivered by him in 2017. ‘Vol. 1’ included chart-topping singles such as ‘Slide,’ ‘Feels,’ and ‘Heatstroke,’ as well as collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Future, Kehlani, and Schoolboy Q.
Wiles has recently dropped EPs under the rave-inspired moniker Love Regenerator, as well as tracks with Tom Greenan as Calvin Harris and The Weeknd.
