Camila Cabello is back with a new music video for “Don’t Go Yet.” The song is the singer’s first single of 2021 and her first solo music since her album Romance, which she released in 2019. Familia, her forthcoming third full-length album, will feature the song.
The singer takes a journey in a classic convertible while changing stations on the radio in the Philippa Price and Pilar Zeta-directed video. The footage then shifts to a toy car driving up a dusty road to a mansion, where a gorgeous Cabello rings the door. Inside, there’s a lively gathering of friends and relatives. She joins the festivities as she sings and dances to the sultry song about the desire to have someone stay.
Cabello, a Cuban-born artist who has previously resided in the nation, has been campaigning for the #SOSCuba movement in solidarity with the country’s rallies against the country’s “62 years of oppression,” as Cabello stated on Instagram. According to Billboard, she performed with Pitbull and Emilio Estafan at the 18th annual Premios Juventud on Thursday.
She will play at the 2021 edition of Global Citizen Live on September 24th, alongside BTS, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Metallica, and many other musicians.
