Diane Warren, an Oscar-nominated songwriter who has written hits for Cher, Celine Dion, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga, and LeAnn Rimes, will release her debut album, The Cave Sessions, Vol. 1, on August 27th.
Warren’s debut will feature original songs by Dion, John Legend, Maren Morris, Rita Ora, Ty Dolla $ign, and Luis Fonsi, among others. The single “She’s Fire,” starring G-Eazy and Carlos Santana, was released to kick off the album.
Due to the success of DeBarge’s “Rhythm of the Night,” Warren’s career took off in 1985. She’s known for creating stirring songs for big-budget movies, and she’s been nominated for 12 Academy Awards for Best Original Song, most recently for “Io sí (Seen)” from The Life Ahead this year.
