Charli XCX has just confirmed the release of her latest album, “Crash,” in March 2022, as well as additional European and North American tour dates.
The announcement came after she released the album’s first track, ‘New Shapes,’ which featured Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek.
On social media, Charli XCX confirmed the release date for her single “Crash.” She used the following captions in her Twitter and Instagram posts: “CRASH . the new album . march 18th . pre order now “.
‘New Shapes’ is the follow-up to her September song ‘Good Ones.’ Charli XCX worked with Joel Corry and Jax Jones on (‘Out Out,’) Elio on (the ‘Charger’ remix,) the 1975 and No Rome on (‘Spinning,’) and Bladee and Mechatok on the (‘Drama’ remix) in 2021.
Rina Sawayama, Oneohtrix Point Never, A. G. Cook, George Daniel of 1975, and Ariel Rechtshaid were among the producers and performers she worked with on her album ‘Crash.’
In a press statement, Charli XCX revealed that this is her fifth and final album under her current record agreement.
