Charlie Bones has announced his resignation from NTS Radio.
The DJ and presenter announced the news on his 2-hour daily breakfast program, DO!! YOU!!!, on the morning of 20th August.
After not receiving the backing he required from the station, Bones informed listeners that he would be “going solo.”
The NTS team seemed to be astonished by the announcement, which was made live.
Since the inception of NTS in 2011, Charlie Bones has been an important part of the station’s programming. During his 10 years on the air, the presenter developed a loyal following for his upbeat music, quick humour, and chatroom contact with fans.
Every weekday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. “DO!! YOU!!!” broadcasted, with guests including OK Williams, anu, and Peach filling in as hosts on occasion.
Meanwhile, Bones’ listeners have gone to social media to pay respect to him and thank him for his efforts, especially during the recent lockdowns.
