R&B veteran Charlie Wilson debuted the latest music video for his collaborative groove “No Stoppin’ Us” with Babyface, K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci, and Johnny Gill of New Edition on Friday (April 1).
The vocalists look to be having a luxurious daylong celebration in the tropics in the cheerful music video.
Wilson concludes the video with a special message for watchers, saying, “Hope you enjoyed my video. Thank you so much for watching.”
Babyface produced “No Stoppin’ Us,” which was unveiled by Parandise/P Music Group. Wilson’s “All of My Love,” which features fellow music veteran Smokey Robinson, was released two years ago in 2020.
The latest single samples the disco classic “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” by McFadden & Whitehead, which topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979.
