“Good Girls” is the latest single from Chvrches’ upcoming album, “Screen Violence,” which will be released on August 27th via Glassnote Records.
Lauren Mayberry takes on unfair and oppressive standards and ideals imposed on women in her song “Good Girls,” a booming synth anthem.
“Good Girls” is Screen Violence’s third release, following “How Not to Drown,” which features Robert Smith of the Cure, and “He Said She Said.” Screen Violence is Chvrches’ fourth studio album, after 2018’s Love Is Dead. Later this year, the band will embark on a North American tour in support of the new album, which will begin on November 9th in Houston and end on December 18th in Los Angeles.
