“My Universe,” a new single by Coldplay and BTS, is out now. The song will be featured on Coldplay’s forthcoming album, “Music of the Spheres,” which will be released on October 15th.
The uplifting song features Korean and English language verses that focus on choosing love over differences.
Following “Higher Power,” the bands co-wrote the Max Martin-produced track that serves as the second track from Music of the Spheres.
Coldplay will perform at this year’s Global Citizen Live festival in New York City on September 25th, following the launch of “My Universe.” BTS is also set to perform during the festival. BTS will also be performing at the festival. Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, Meek Mill, Shawn Mendes, and special guests Alessia Cara, Burna Boy, Cyndi Lauper, Jon Batiste, and Lang Lang will all perform at Coldplay’s NYC performance.
BTS recently played their current track, “Permission to Dance,” at the United Nations General Assembly’s 76th session, where they also spoke as young ambassadors.
At 8 a.m. ET on Sunday, the partners will release an Inside My Universe documentary, followed by a Supernova7 mix and an acoustic version of the track at 7 p.m. ET the same day.
