Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin have reunited for another year of “Hanukkah Sessions,” an eight-night series in which the Foo Fighters’ leader and producer released a new cover of a Jewish artist’s track for each night of the Festival of Lights.
The duo delivered a straightforward performance of the punk classic in the song’s accompanying video, with the exception of a lyric alteration to the song’s rallying chant, when they sing, “Hey oy! Let’s goy!” The duo gave Lisa Loeb’s “Stay (I Missed You)” a dramatic, metal spin for the first night of this year’s installment.
Foo Fighters’ video for “Love Dies Young,” which features Jason Sudeikis, was released earlier this month.
