Kali Uchis has delivered her version of “Desafinado,” a bossa nova and jazz song popularised in the early 1960s by Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto. Uchis’ song will be featured on Jack Antonoff’s forthcoming Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack, which he produced and selected.
Tame Impala and Diana Ross (“Turn Up the Sunshine”) contribute to the star-studded Minions soundtrack, which also includes covers of 1970s classics by St. Vincent, Brittany Howard, Phoebe Bridgers, and others. The album will be released on July 1 to coincide with the theatrical premiere of the film.
