It appears that Taylor Swift isn’t the only artist who hides Easter eggs in her music.
Since Adele’s 30’s era, fans have shared their thoughts on social media to what has become an ideal soundtrack for “sad girl Autumn.” While casual listeners lauded Adele’s fourth studio album, some went deeper, discovering lyrical resemblances and visual clues to Adele classics in her videos for “Easy On Me” and “Oh My God.”
Optimists were quick to spot the common characteristics between “Easy On Me” and her longest-running Hot 100 No. 1 “Hello,” which were both recorded in black and white and feature the same house, according to Sony Music. Furthermore, the two videos were directed by the same person, Xavier Nolan.
Fans found parallels between “Oh My God,” which was released on Wednesday, January 12, and 2010’s “Rolling In The Deep,” in which she reunited with director Sam Brown who directed both music videos.
Though Adele has not publicly acknowledged the pointers, some are simply too accurate to pass up.
