The second installment of Happa’s ‘Explorations In Music For Dancing’ EP series has been released.
With each release focusing on a different genre, the London producer’s recently launched project “intends to break down, analyze, and genetically modify dance music’s framework.” Happa rips up and reassembles retro rave sonics into dizzying, futuristic forms on ‘Vol. 2′, which consists of three frantic jungle mutations.
‘Explorations In Music For Dancing Vol.2′ release follows ‘Vol.1′ in September 2021, which saw him combine elements of house, dubstep, UKG, filter disco, and footwork into something truly unique.
The EP is out now on Happa’s own PT/5 Records, and it comes with some spectral artwork by Caitlin McLoughlin, as well as a ‘Print Your Own Poster’ and a PDF with a selection of influences for the EP’s music and visual style.
