Fatboy Slim has stated that he considered quitting music to pursue a career as a firefighter.
The iconic UK DJ and producer, born Norman Cook, disclosed the near-career change at an event hosted by the Fire Fighters Charity, just a week after commemorating the 20th anniversary of ‘Weapon of Choice’ with a new remix package by KiNK.
Cook announced a November tour in the United Kingdom in March.
