Shepherd will perform at a number of festivals this year in Australia, Europe, and the United Kingdom. He’ll also be performing at Coachella. “Goodbye Mr. Blue” arrives ahead of Father John Misty’s performance of the new single with a full band on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert tonight.
The latest single follows “Funny Girl” and “Q4″ off the upcoming album, which will be released on April 8 through Sub Pop. The record was co-produced by Jonathan Wilson, and the deluxe edition includes a 7” covering album tunes with Lana Del Rey and David Lynch.
