Flume has revealed the title of his new EP, ‘Palaces,’ as well as the first track and video, ‘Say Nothing,’ which features MAY-A.
The full-length, which will be released on May 20th via the Transgressive and Future Classics labels, was conceptualized after the producer departed Los Angeles to return to his country of Australia. The artist was inspired to write the latest piece to his back catalog after settling in New South Wales and seeing the stunning beauty of the Northern Rivers region.
Caroline Polacheck, Vergen Maria, Oklou, and Kučka are among the vocalists and collaborators who make appearances on the album. Damon Albarn, the British music icon, is also mentioned in the credits since his unique voice was used in a teaser video for the album released last month.
The album is now available for pre-order, and a new apparel line has been released to honor the occasion. Flume’s third studio EP, ‘Hi This Is Flume,’ was released in 2019, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album. The producer also unveiled an open-source sample collection the same year.
