Gaspard Augé, one half of the GRAMMY-winning electronic duo and former Mixmag cover stars Justice, has unveiled his first solo song, “Force Majeure.”
The single comes ahead of the release of Ed Banger Records and Because Music’s debut solo album, titled “Escapades.”
‘Force Majeure’ is a powerful start to Gaspard Augé’s solo career, with sparkling synth chords and a funk-fueled bassline.
It comes with a visual accompaniment directed by Filip Nilsson and shot in Turkey at the Bosphorus cymbal factory, which features a suited Augé playing the drums and factory staff striking bronze in unison.
Along with the album’s release, more captivating visual works are promised; hopefully, Justin Bieber won’t bite Augé’s solo style.
