Future has announced that his upcoming album will be released later this month. Future confirmed the release date of the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2020’s High Off Life in a new Instagram post as of April 29.
Earlier this year, the rapper hinted that new music was on the way. Future teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert for their collaborative album Pluto x Baby Pluto shortly after the release of High Off Life. Future has been very busy since then. Moneybagg Yo’s track “Hard for the Next” included him, as did Drake’s Certified Lover Boy cut “Way 2 Sexy.” Future also contributed vocals to Kanye West’s latest album, Donda 2, as well as executive produced it.
Future released a video for his new single “Worst Day” earlier this year. On Gunna’s DS4Ever, he had two appearances, hopping on the popular songs “Too Easy” and “Pushin P.” Future will play alongside Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, and others at this year’s version of Rolling Loud Miami in July.
