The follow-up to Halestorm’s 2018 album Vicious has been revealed. In 2022, the hard-rock band will release their fifth studio album.
The group released the album’s first single, despite the lack of a specific release date, track list, or even title. “Back From the Dead” is a scathing but cathartic ode to conquering all adversity, including death.
The epic music video for “Back From the Dead” is as ferocious as the song itself, with Hale singing from under water, on a gurney, through an oxygen mask, and finally from a body bag. Dustin Haney’s film finds all four members stretched down on slabs in a mortuary and finally strutting over a graveyard in their best Walking Dead strut.
Halestorm is presently on tour, with a co-headlining tour with Evanescence set to begin in November.
