‘Harmattan,’ a new album by Klein, has been announced.
The album, which takes its name from the West African season, will be released by PENTATONE, a classical music label, and sees Klein fusing classical music with grime, R&B, improvisational jazz, and drone music. It comes after last year’s ‘Frozen’ record and 2019’s ”Lifetime,’ which was named one of DJ Mag’s best albums of the year.
Klein’s vocals may be heard throughout the album, and Charlotte Church lends vocals to one track,’skyfall.’
Klein has shared a video for the album’s lead song, “hope dealers,” which will be released on November 19th.
