‘HeForShe Vol.4′, a new charity compilation from London-based DIY group and label femme culture, will benefit UN Women.
The album comprises songs from Bambounou, Elkka, KAVARI, Bklava, Talik, Jennifer Loveless, and Al Wootton, and also Alexis’ “groovy and glitchy slow burner” and Farsight’s “inspired in equal parts by guaracha, Baltimore club, and pure imagination.”
All proceeds from ‘HeForShe Vol. 4’ will be contributed to UN Women, which will be shared evenly between their Safe Spaces Now programme and their Ukrainian humanitarian operations, ensuring that women and those at risk are protected on the ground.
In addition, femme culture has promised to donate 10% of earnings from future releases to a charitable cause chosen in collaboration with each release artist.
This is the fifth year of femme culture’s charity series, which benefits UN Women. In 2018, the first volume was released.
