Onelight has enlisted the help of four artists to remix his latest hit, ‘Hold Me,’ which features June Fermie’s vocals.
YANARI, Tayreeb, SHE Spells Doom, and Walter Mecca each reworked the luminous electronic pop track, which was originally on Parisian producer EMPORIUM’s 2021 LP where he crafted a futuristic blend of R&B, pop, and electronica.
SHE Spells Doom, a Zambian producer who was highlighted in our emerging artists feature last September, gives the track a rhythmic makeover, injecting some UK funky magic into the original’s bright, anthemic foundations.
The remixes by SHE Spells Doom come after the launch of his ‘Rudnick’ EP on All Centre last year, and an appearance on Tresor’s 30th-anniversary collection.
The remixes for “Hold Me” will be unveiled on March 4th.
