Mikaela Straus, also known as King Princess, is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer from Brooklyn, has revealed her sophomore record, Hold On Baby, which will be launched on July 29 via Columbia and Zelig. Together with Dave Hamelin, Mark Ronson, Aaron Dessner, Ethan Gruska, Shawn Everett, Bryce Dessner, and Tobias Jesso Jr., Straus produced her album. Additionally, the album has contributions by Amy Allen, Zach Fogarty, and Fousheé.
In October 2019, King Princess shared her debut album, Cheap Queen. She co-wrote and co-produced the record with Mike Malchichioff in Los Angeles.
