Ibiza’s first ever Afro house residency will be held at Bora Bora beach club, and it will be led by Defected’s Sondela label.
Monday night parties will be hosted by label heads Sef Kombo and Louie Dunmore between July 4 and August 29. Kitty Amor, a prominent personality in the London Afro house scene, will complete the trio of resident DJs.
In January 2021, Defected Records created Sondela alongside Dunmore and Kombo to spotlight Afro-house genres, donating all proceeds to Bridges For Music. They have released a continuous stream of albums on Bandcamp, a vinyl compilation EP, and staged parties at the Ministry of Sound in London.
