‘Joy III The World,’ a seasonal mix by Finn and India Jordan, has been released.
It’s the duo’s third Christmas mix in as many years, spanning “90 minutes of dance music gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” It comes after the release of their two-tracker ‘All About Love / Big B’ earlier this month.
Finn and India had scheduled to turn their yearly Joy To The World mix tradition into a party at NT’s Loft in London on December 17th, but due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the UK and the threat of the omicron variant, the event was deferred until the new year.
‘Joy III The World,’ a festive mood-lifter starring Ultra Naté, Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson, and others, is a perfect festive mood-lifter.
Both DJs have had a good year in 2021. Jordan’s latest album, ‘Watch Out!,’ was dropped in May on Ninja Tune, and the band has since performed at clubs and festivals around the UK, along with a residency at Manchester’s Warehouse Project.
In January, Finn released Mixtape Club, a mix series aimed at helping DJs get paid during the pandemic. Besides a busy gig schedule, he also released the EP ‘A Good Place’ in September and continued to release music on 2 B REAL imprint, which won the Breakthrough Label category at the DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards 2020.
