Soul II Soul’s founding member Jazzie B is releasing her autobiography.
According to an interview published by Beyond Magazine, the book, titled ‘A Happy Face, A Thumpin’ Bass, For A Lovin’ Race,’ was two years in the creation and draws its name from the London artist’s longtime motto.
Jazzie B said about the book that its her own story when she was growing up as a kid in London, entering up into the music industry in 1977 and emergence of the band, and their wonderful adventure ever since. It tells the artist’s story through previously unseen images and interviews.
