Kano, a British rapper, has collaborated with Duppy Share Caribbean Rums to release his own rum.
During the UK’s lockdown, George Frost, founder of Duppy White, first contacted with Kano via Instagram before deciding to collaborate on the development of a rum.
With Duppy Share’s earlier rums blending Jamaican and Barbadian ingredients, the pair opted on a 100 percent Jamaican rum to honor Kano’s roots. Kano went to his family’s home in Brownstown, Jamaica, during the process to assist define the flavors that would go into the final blend.
