Kanye West presented his new album, Donda, at an Apple Music-streamed event on Thursday night. The listening party was held in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. West performed a collaboration with Jay-Z at the end of the show. On Friday, the album will be unveiled.
West took the stage in the centre of the arena, performing songs with Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Pusha T, Travis Scott, and other musicians. The event came to a close with his song, which featured Jay-Z.
It’s the first time the two have collaborated on a song since Drake’s “Pop Style” in 2016. Watch the Throne, their collaborative album, was released in 2011.
Earlier this week, during Game 6 of the NBA Finals, West’s song “No Child Left Behind” was featured in a Beats by Dre commercial with track superstar Sha’Carri Richardson.
