Katy Perry is gearing up for a heartfelt holiday season. The singer sings a cover of the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” in a new Gap ad for the retailer’s 2021 All Together Now end-of-year campaign.
Katy wakes up, removes her eye mask, and starts singing the 1967 No. 1 Fab Four hit from the Magical Mystery Tour album as she prepares for a day on set by running on the treadmill, putting on a make-up mask, and slipping on a Gap sweatshirt, baseball hat, and dark shades to make the journey from her chauffeured Tesla to set.
While Perry strumming and smiling on the cover, young people dressed in bright Gap comfortable clothes dance, kiss, and celebrate the season all around her. It was also revealed that the full-length version of the track, which will be released on Monday (October 25) to coincide with Perry’s 37th birthday, will contain a $1 donation to the charity Baby2Baby for every stream of the song on Spotify, up to $100,000.
