Just two days after releasing the official teaser poster for her next single project, “Lalisa,” Lisa stunned fans by releasing a teaser trailer for the full album on her and BLACKPINK’s official social media accounts on Friday (Aug. 27).
The trailer, which is only 26 seconds long, shows the “Kill This Love” singer in an intriguing location, perched on an invisible platform bathed in deep red lights, with thunder and lightning flashing in the backdrop. Before the trailer ends, the title of the single album and its release date (September 10) show in matching deep red font.
More details about the project, including a physical album release, were released to BLACKPINK’s Instagram account after the official poster for the single album was unveiled.
BLACKPINK’s label, YG Entertainment, has planned an online signing event for fans to have a one-minute, 30-second interaction with Lisa to coincide with the launch of the single album.
Lisa will be the quartet’s third member to release a solo album. In November 2018, Jennie released “Solo,” and in March, Rosé released -R-, which included “On the Ground” and “Gone.” Jisoo will be the final member of BLACKPINK to debut on her own.
