Following the release of the album’s title track last month, Lorde has released “Stoned at the Nail Salon,” the second single from Solar Power.
“Stoned in the Nail Salon” is a sombre contemplation on growing older, in contrast to the bright and happy “Solar Power.”
She later attributes her deep life musings on being “stoned in the nail salon.” Like “Stoned,” “Solar Power,” is produced by Jack Antonoff and features Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo on background vocals. Antonoff arranged the vocals and played guitar and bass on the track.
On Wednesday, Lorde will perform the song live on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
