Lotic has disclosed the details of her new EP ‘Sparkling Water’ and shared the title track ‘Always You (Sparkling)’.
The EP features a collection of tracks from the Houston-born, Berlin-based artist’s second album ‘Water’ which came out last year, along with fresh brass arrangements. It will be released by fabric’s in-house label Houndstooth on July 1.
The Ep contains brass compositions arranged by Hilary Jeffery featuring tuba by Orlando de Boeykens Kelly O’Donohue and trombonist Baron Arnold.
Lotic described ‘Water’ as a tender meditation on love’s losses, timelines, lifeforce, and resilience.
