Little Mix has shown no signs of slowing down in the near future. The “Sweet Melody” singers revealed on social media on Monday (Aug. 30) that the latest track named “Love (Sweet Love)” will be released this Friday (Sept. 3). On Sunday, the girl trio teased a taste of new music on their Instagram and Twitter pages.
With magnificent, ornate golden headpieces and flowing grey costumes, vocalists Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwell appear like goddesses in the teaser picture. Pinnock teased on her Instagram account, “Your gonna love this one.”
The track announcement came after Edwards and Pinnock welcomed their first child into the world earlier this month. On Aug. 21, Edwards delivered her baby with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Pinnock delivered her twins with fiancé Andre Gray five days earlier on Aug. 16.
The news comes on the heels of the group’s ten-year anniversary. Little Mix will release “Between Us,” a compilation of their hits that comprises 5 brand new tracks, to mark the occasion. The album will be backed by a physical release that will include a variety of artwork options for the vinyl and CD copies.
