On M-Plant, Lyric Hood has teased a new solo EP.
On March 9th, the Detroit producer and one-half of Floorplan with her father Robert Hood will unleash ‘Woman-Hood Chapter 1’ on Robert’s landmark minimal techno label.
The four-track EP follows Floorplan’s November release of ‘Get My Mansion Ready / Out of Control’ on Classic Music Company.
‘Nineteen / 11:11,’ ‘Everything / Social Distance,’ and ‘Not Enough / Praise Up’ are the three solo EPs Lyric has delivered under M-Plant to date. She explores her love of house and techno on each, bridging the gap between the two sounds and demonstrating her in-depth knowledge of the genres.
