This year, Billboard will commemorate Black History Month with playlists focused on “Black Love.” They’ve shortlisted artists, producers, and composers to highlight tunes that best represent the affectionate theme and illustrate why these records give them that butterfly feeling every time they listen to them.
Legendary producer TM88 kicks off the inaugural “Black Love” playlist, having achieved his first No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit last year with his work on Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy.” He also released the furious Yo!88 mixtape with Pierre Bourne, which made Billboard’s 2021 list of top hip-hop albums.
