Producer Mario Caldato Jr. has released a new remix of The Avalanches’ classic track “Frontier Psychiatrist.”
Caldato Jr is best known for his work with the Beastie Boys, on which he served as a producer and engineer from 1989 to 1998. His remix of ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’ is one of the bonus tracks set to appear on The Avalanches’ classic album, ‘Since I Left You,’ which will be released in a deluxe 20th anniversary edition.
Leon Vynehall, Carl Craig, and MF Doom are among the remixers on the release, with his remix of ‘Tonight Will Have To Last Me All My Life’ being included posthumously following his death last year. On June 4th, the reissue will be issued.
