On Monday (May 24), Maroon 5 released the track lineup for their forthcoming seventh album Jordi, which features posthumous performers as well as up-and-comers.
Jordi is a tribute to the band’s late longtime manager Jordan Feldstein, who passed away in 2017.
In “Can’t Leave You Alone,” the album pays tribute to slain rapper Juice WRLD, and also Nipsey Hussle on the remix of Maroon 5’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 smash “Memories,” which will also feature Hussle’s dear friend YG. On “One Light,” Maroon 5 collaborated with emerging Zimbabwean musician Bantu.
Jordi, which was critically acclaimed by J Kash, will also feature Megan Thee Stallion on the previously released singles “Memories,” “Nobody’s Love,” and “Beautiful Mistakes.” The physical deluxe edition of the record, which will be available exclusively at Target, will include Levine’s collab with Jason Derulo on “Lifestyle” and “Button,” which features Anuel AA and Tainy.
Levine will sing “Beautiful Mistakes” with the band on The Voice’s live finale on Tuesday, according to Billboard exclusively. On June 4, Maroon 5 will do a virtual concert called “American Express UNSTAGED With Maroon 5”, which will include music from the latest album.
Jordi will be released on June 11th through 222 and Interscope Records. Maroon 5 will perform songs from Jordi on NBC’s TODAY Summer Concert Series on Jordi’s release day. This summer, Maroon 5 will also be on the tour.
