Megadeth and Lamb of God have rescheduled their Metal Tour of the Year, which had been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The two bands will begin their tour on August 20th in Austin, Texas, and will travel across the United States and Canada, concluding on October 2nd in Quebec City. Trivium and In Flames will open the show as openers.
Megadeth’s first North American tour since 2017 will be the Metal Tour of the Year, and it will mark Mustaine’s return to the stage following his fight with throat cancer and rehabilitation in 2019. Lamb of God will be performing live for the first time since the release of their latest self-titled album in 2020.
The general public can purchase tickets and VIP packages for the tour starting on Friday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. local time at Live Nation.
