Missy Elliot has been named to be honored with a street name in her hometown Virginia. The U.S. rapper, singer, and producer was recognized with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame a few months back.
A street in Portsmouth, Virginia was decided to be renamed on a unanimous vote by the local council on August 9. Now, it is officially to be called Missy Elliot Boulevard Street.
