Moor Mother has released a new song from her upcoming album.
The Philadelphia-based poet, musician, artist, and activist has released a new track, ‘Shekere,’ following the release of ‘Obsidian,’ which featured rapper Pink Siifu earlier this month.
‘Shekere,’ which features Philadelphia rapper Lojii, is a dreamy, hazy excursion through r&b-inspired sounds that will appear via ‘Black Encyclopedia Of The Air,’ which will be released via ANTI on September 17th.
‘Analog Fluids Of Sonic Black Holes,’ Moor Mother’s most recent album, was dropped in 2019 on Don Giovanni Records and had 13 tracks. ‘Circuit City,’ a four-part soundtrack and play by the artist, was also released the same year.
