The release of Moor Mother’s latest album, “Black Encyclopedia Of The Air,” was revealed this week. ANTI- will release it on September 17th.
The album’s latest single is called “Obsidian.” The music, which features rapper Pink Siifu, is about present, immediate danger, according to Moor Mother.
‘Black Encyclopedia Of The Air,’ a collaboration between Moor Mother and soundscape artist and producer Olof Melander, was recorded at her home at the commencement of the Coronavirus lockdown.
Last month, Moor Mother released the album’s first single, “Zami,” which is titled after Audre Lorde’s ground-breaking biomythography.
