MURDER SUSPECT FOR THE DEATH OF YOUNG DOLPH ARRESTED

The suspect in the killing of Memphis rapper Young Dolph has been apprehended.

According to Rolling Stone, Justin Johnson, who is 23 years of age, was arrested on Tuesday, January 11 in Indiana at about 3 p.m. local time, following an organized search by the US Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The arrest warrant issued for Johnson was in connection with Young Dolph’s deadly shooting at a famed cookie store in Memphis in November of the just-ended year.

The US Marshals Service issued a first-degree murder warrant for Johnson concerning Young Dolph’s death according to a news release. Any information that could lead to an arrest was subject to a reward of $15,000.

According to the police, on November 17, two males left a white Mercedes-Benz and fired bullets into a bakery shop where the 36 years old Memphis rapper was buying cookies.
On November 30th, he was given a private funeral, and on Dec. 15, a stretch of a roadway in the area where he grew up was renamed after him.
