Napolian, real name Ian Evans, a US producer, died at the age of 29.
The reason of death has not been disclosed. According to Pitchfork, Napolian’s death has been verified by friend and collaborator Joel Ford.
Napolian’s music was influenced by both hip hop and electronic music from the West Coast.
The Los Angeles-based musician has released music on labels such Cascine, Beer On The Rug, and Oneohtrix Point Never’s Software, including his 2014 album “Incursio.”
Kelela, A$AP Ferg, Yves Tumor, Jacques Greene, and Joel Ford were among the artists with whom he collaborated on releases.
On social media, a lot of artists have paid respect to Napolian.
