Ben Sims has released a new mix, ‘Synchronicity.’
The compilation was launched earlier this year in two 20-track segments, and is now available as a ‘definitive version,’ featuring a blend of all of those tracks put together by the London-based DJ. Both segments of ‘Synchronicity’ are available on Bandcamp here and here.
On the playlist, techno enthusiasts will discover several well-known household names as well as emerging talent. Making appearances includes; Ritzi Lee, Black Girl / White Girl, Szmer, Blasha & Allatt, Dotdat, Arnaud Le Texier, Lady Starlight, Kerrie, Industrialyzer, Elisa Bee.
The amazing mix covers 40 tracks in just under 70 minutes, providing insight into the great respect Sims has. The highly acclaimed DJ is head of the Symbolism imprint, which he reactivated in 2020 after a three-year break.
Sims won the Underground Hero title at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards 2021 in the early days of December. He was one of 100 techno producers to submit an unreleased track in June to the ‘PX099: 100 Years Of Colombia’ project, which attempted to raise awareness of violence and police brutality during Colombia’s anti-corruption campaign.
