NEW RESTRICTIONS IN IBIZA AS COVID CASES RISE

A new set of restrictions has been added in San Antonio, Ibiza as COVID cases still rise within the region.

The tourism of excesses decree lessens the number of people who can sit together indoors in an entertainment or nightlife surroundings to six indoors and 10 outdoors – these venues must also shut at 2:AM.
Selling alcohol will also be not allowed between 9:30PM and 8:AM.

Tourism minister Iago Neguerela, noted that the restrictions were in place to gear the spread of the virus.
The news comes after Ibiza was added to the green list of UK Government in June.
The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez went on to announce that UK tourists would need a negative COVID-19 test or to prove they have been vaccinated in order to gain entry to the Balearics.

COVID cases have been increasing in the Balaeric Islands with 256 cases reported on July 6.
