’18 & Over,’ a new track from Nia Archives, has been released with accompanying visuals.
The Leeds-born, London-based musician releases a brand new single and a nostalgic music video after the unveiling of her ‘Forbidden Feelingz’ album in October.
The Taliable-directed visuals pay tribute to UK soundsystem culture and Nia’s Jamaican ancestry, and also evoking films like Babylon and The Harder They Come, by sampling Cocoa Tea’s 1987 reggae song, ‘Young Lover,’ and infusing the tune with her own vocals and broken beats.
