A new audio piece is narrated by Nile Rodgers titled ‘Story For Sleep: A Peaceful Winter Night’.
The composition, which was recorded in immersive spatial audio, is part of Apple’s ongoing ‘From Apple Music With Love’ Christmas countdown series, which includes special releases from a variety of large bands and well-known people. Between November 26th and December 3rd, Apple Music subscribers will get access to new exclusives as part of the series.
The work, defined as “the perfect nighttime remedy” for getting to sleep, is intended to convey “the comforting sounds of winter” in immersive Spatial Audio, such as breezy winds and crackling flames. It is divided into six segments and runs for 39 minutes total.
Nile Rodgers recently expressed his desire to release numerous previously unreleased works with Avicii.
In July of this year, he released The DiscOasis, a roller disco in Los Angeles.
