Erika James popularly known as COUCOU CHLOE released her new EP, ‘ONE,’ last week, after announcing it earlier this year.
James’ remix of Lady Gaga’s ‘Stupid Love’ earlier this year on Gaga’s hyper pop project ‘Dawn Of Chrmatica’ portrayed the artist’s potentials in club music.
The new EP is a roller coaster of emotions. ‘WIZZ’ depicts great excitement, yet the next song, ‘FREEZE,’ depicts dissatisfaction with diaristic-like lyrics interwoven inside.
James tells us about the new EP: “My EP “ONE” has a compilation of tracks that complement one another. They are a mixture of many emotions, a spectrum of all of my various moods. I strive to express all of my moods via music; these songs serve as a musical journal of my emotions.”
Sega Bodega and Shygirl, along with COUCOU CHLOE are founding members of the NUXXE collective. She has played live on three continents, most notably in Berlin and at the Sonar Festival.
