Jade Lilitri has surprised fans by releasing a new Oso Oso album: Sore Thumb, just weeks after releasing the track “Pensacola.”
Sore Thumb was recorded over the course of a month at Billy Mannino’s Two Worlds Recording Studio in Queens, New York, with Lilitri’s late cousin Tavish Maloney. Maloney died less than a month after the album was recorded, and Lilitri elected to preserve the tracks substantially intact, with the exception of having Mike Sapone mix the album.
