Perel has announced the release of his new album, ‘Jesus Was An Alien,’ via Kompakt on May 13th.
Perel’s latest album is primarily influenced by synth, Italo, and piano house blueprints, which all appear frequently in the New York-based Geman artist’s famed hybrid and DJ sets.
Perel’s second full-length album comes after her debut, ‘Hermetica,’ which was dropped on DFA in 2018. Do Not Sleep, Running Back, Riotvan, Uncanny Valley, and O*RS have all released previous EPs by the artist. She’ll perform the record in its entirety this summer at a variety of locations, including Berlin’s Zenner (20/5), London’s Moth Club (27th May), and as-yet-unconfirmed locations in Los Angeles and New York.
