Quavo has spoken out about a newly released video depicting the Migos rapper and his ex Saweetie in a physical altercation.
TMZ posted a video of Saweetie and Quavo arguing in an elevator earlier this week, an incident that drew the attention of law enforcement.
The video shows a dispute that erupted into a fight in a North Hollywood apartment complex that Saweetie was renting in 2020.
Saweetie released her own statement two days after the video went viral, calling the fight “unfortunate.”
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department is reviewing the video, and investigators want to speak with all parties separately to investigate the incident’s context.
Quavo and Saweetie are no longer together. Saweetie revealed her single status on Twitter on March 19, saying she’d been through “too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes.”
Quavo replied the same day on Twitter, expressing his displeasure with airing their nearly two-year-old relationship’s dirty laundry.
